Under a partnership with Water Aid Ghana, over 145 boreholes were drilled in Kwahu Afram Plains North and Kwahu Afram Plains South in the Eastern region, Krachi East, Krachi West and Krachi Nchumuru Districts in the Oti Region. Twenty-two (22) small water system systems and 45 girl friendly Institutional latrines were also constructed for 45 schools. Intensive hygiene promotion was carried out in all the target communities where water and sanitation facilities were provided. 852 household latrines were constructed for poor and needy households.
